Join ABM Scotland's virtual event to explore how to recognise and address Imposter Syndrome in your mentoring practice. You'll learn key strategies to help clients manage self-doubt and grow with confidence.

Imposter Syndrome is a common but often hidden challenge faced by many individuals, especially those in leadership roles or running their own businesses. It is reported that over 70% of people will experience imposter-like thoughts and feelings at some point in their lives, which means as mentors, it's highly likely you'll encounter clients grappling with these feelings. Recognising when imposter syndrome is holding your clients back is essential for helping them unlock their full potential.

In this session, we will explore what imposter syndrome is, how it shows up in the people you work with, and the key signs to watch for. We'll discuss questions you can use to gently uncover these feelings in a supportive way, as well as initial strategies to help your clients manage imposter-like thoughts. Additionally, we'll cover when and how to signpost clients to further resources if imposter syndrome is creating a significant barrier to their progress.

By the end of the workshop, you'll be more equipped to recognise imposter syndrome within your mentoring practice, address it effectively, and help your clients move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
